Casey and I are moving Texas, where we own thirty acres on the Terlingua Ranch in the Chihuahua Desert, near Big Bend National Park. As a pair of young college students, we naturally have very limited financial resources, and so have resolved to use our combined ecological knowledge along with Casey's remarkable manual skills to build a small, self-sufficient homestead amid the rattlesnakes and prickly pear.
